What we collect

• On first visit, we create an anonymous ID ("uid") to keep your session together.
• If you turn on Remember my city & preferences, we store your city, fellowship preference, and a simple "sobriety bucket" (first meeting, 1–30 days, or 90+ days). You can turn this off anytime.
• If you enable Help improve the coach, we store anonymized snippets of your chat to improve our guidance. We automatically remove obvious contact details (like phone numbers and emails) before saving and we do not store names or exact street addresses.

What we do with it

• Your city and preferences help the coach show the right meeting links and suggestions faster.
• Anonymized snippets help us build short guidance notes (our Knowledge Base) that improve answers for everyone. We may paraphrase or quote very short passages (≤25 words) with citations.

Skip sign in / Anonymous use

• You can always use the coach anonymously. A random ID ("uid") keeps your session together. You can link or unlink an email later in Settings.

Track submissions without email

• When you submit a meeting, we give you a private tracking link so you can check status without sharing contact info.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
• We don't provide clinical or emergency services. If you ask for medical or crisis help, the coach will suggest seeking local professional help or a trusted person nearby.

Your choices

• Settings lets you: view/edit your info, forget this device (clears local storage), or delete your data (server purge and a fresh anonymous ID).
• You can use the coach without saving anything; it will just forget between visits.

Retention

• If you enable memory, we keep your preferences up to 180 days since your last visit, then delete them automatically. You can delete them sooner in Settings.
• Anonymized improvement snippets may be kept to help our Knowledge Base; you can disable future collection anytime.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and protect stored data with access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
